I've travelled a lot in the past few years and have travel blogs with banner ads on them, see

Back to Blighty. These get a lot of hits from around the world which makes me think once people click through to the main site this is not enough to hold visitors attention long enough as they are not generating new sign ups.
I know the list is the key but am a novice at internet marketing so building a list in the first place is clearly something I need to study some more.
I'll be taking a good look at what Martin has PM me and see how that pans out.
It's only a case of finding the path that works best and I'm sure some of you guys are already on that path. Thanks again for the input.
