I do believe that any Network Marketing Company be it VWD , Amway or anyone else has to rely on the numbers game. Some will, some won't, move on. It certainly took me some time to really appreciate that. It is not that people do not like what you are offering, it is often quite simply that they cannot be bothered (at the time). They always remain as prospects and one day, just maybe they will take an interest. The more people you show your products to the greater your chance of success. Give up and you give up on yourself.
