Exhibition costs etc
Hi Folks,
Maybe this coming one wouldnt be any good for us as its a trade show but this gives an idea of the costs involved with such exhibitions!
Maybe we could do a co-op when the right event comes up?
At least we now have a contact in the tradeshow world.
-------------------------------------------------------------
I have attached some information on the ICEi 2007 Exhibition, also here is a link to the website www.icei-exhibition.com
The show is in Earls Court 2, London on 23rd, 24th and 25th January. When I last spoke to the organizers they had a few 3m x 2m spaces left (stand nos: 5314 & 5316) on the ICEi close up floor plan.
Cost of the space is £288/sqm, therefore 6sqm would be £1728 + VAT (there is a possibility that I could book the space under our Company and as we are VAT registered we could claim it back). This cost is for the 3 days therefore daily cost is £576, we would have to book the whole 3 days but I’m just showing you that maybe the cost could be split with others affiliates to make it affordable. There would probably be a few extra charges on top of this such as electrics (approx £70/single socket, internet connection if needed £250-300 for the 3 days).
Cost of shell scheme is £333/sqm, shell scheme gives you the same space, but they provide walls, carpet, lights and a name board.
Gerran (my husband) has said that if we went for the space only option he would build us any walls needed, put some carpet down, do the lights and put up any graphics we have.
The organizers have advised that this is a trade show and not a consumer show so any visitors would probably have some kind of connection or interest in the industry – whether or not this make any difference to us I’ll let you decide as you have more experience than me. Take a look at the website and attached info and see if you think the show is right for our market.
Feeling Flambatious
