elotbidder game
VWD really disapointed me with this new game. I would expect them to create something much better.
To start with it is confusing as hell for begginers.
People are driven by curiosity to place bids but I do not believe for a scecond that many will place any bids in the future.
Moreover, VWD is not able to control certain manipulations. They mentioned something about that in T&C but there is no way they can track down group of people placing bids in coopertion.
For group of 10 or 20 people it should be quite easy to win this Mercedes, however it would not be for minimum cost. They have to start placing bids just minutes before the auction finishes and exchange information where is the lowest bid. The real fun starts when there are many people doing that, so VWD might earn plenty of cash in the last few hours.
People who place bids early they are very naive, because the chances of winning are remote, only those who place bids on the last day might increase their chances dramaticaly.
Plus how VWD can guarantee that nobody has access to bid list, they said that all data is encrypted. But it is not like lottery when everything is random and clear. Here some people can have an advantage due to some insider information.
I placed some bids myself, just to check it up, never again. It is a silly game.
I would be very surprised if this game become any big success. But you never know there are plenty of stupid people around believing they are the choosen ones to win a MERC.
Also, the cost of biding being an affiliate is extremely high. The auction closes end of August so affiliates have to pay £15 for April, May, June, July, August this is £75 for what?
For the remote chance to win just a car.
It would be much better to buy some lottery tickets instead or spend this money in a casino at least you can have some fun. I do not see any fun involved in elotbider.
Sorry for my negative feedback but I am very angry that actually people are getting involved in such a silly games.

Yes
Yes my thoughts as well. Most people want it NOW they want to play and win. How will VWD contact the winner? I will have gone through several sims/numbers by then. I buy the cheapest use the credit and bin it. pay and go no account no history. This seems wide open to abuse. Someone will be able to see the bids. I remember some time ago a similar thing was run by a charity (i may be wrong) and they had a masive problem with tracing the 'winner'
Still all said and done there are plenty of suckers who play these, but a fear a storm on the horizon, and I will not be pushing this.

We are all entitled to our opinions and i appreciate your frustrations, but i also feel you are slightly missing the point here. Its not about winning the car for us. Don't get me wrong, i wouldn't mind it on the drive, but we are here to earn a moddest 1st or 2nd income. Keep it simple and leave the hard stuff to vwd.
I would never entertain playing these games ever and i am not promoting this one. Slightly hypocritical trying to sell something you aint doing yourself. With everything thats new you get teething problems. Remember though, this is just another game to add to your business (SHOULD YOU WISH TO) or like me just stick to the lottery side. You have the freedom to choose how you operate your business.
People are free to play or not. You just plant the seed and then its their choice.
Good luck
Richard
p.s... Anyone wanna win a merc.....

I look at it as a resource. I can use it if I want or if I don't want I don't have to use it.
Simple! I've decided to promote it in the short term to see if its popular. If its not I'll stop using it otherwise I keep it going.
I like the game!

I am not going to promote something I do not belive is right
I am not going to promote something I do not belive is right.
Some people says that it is great tool to capture email addresses. I agree it is, but the game itself is silly and I would prefer to capture email adresses in different way, for exaple Grab a Grand is good.
For those people who hope to make a business out of bidder good luck, I am sure if you push strong enough you will find some suckers to join your team.
VWD eLottery syndicates are different, it increases the chances of winning the Jackpot by 702 or 3600%, though the chances of winning are still very remote. Basicaly it reduces your odds for UK lotto from 1:14m to 1:2000000 and for EURO from 1:71m to 1:1970000 It still takes you 38000 years to play EURO lotto to have statisticaly guarateed Jackpot and 19000 years for UK lotto, and those little 25 pence or 82 pence winnings is a bulshit anyway.
Nevertheless, elottery provides genuine value for someone who plays lotteries anyway, for exapmle it saves hussle to run every week to lottery outlet to buy tickets and it is profesional syndicate management system.
I have elottery members group of nearly 100 people and I am not trying to convice anyone to join a bidder. Do not like the game the main prize is very average car for that kind of content.
I would rather spend my time for promoting elottery.

Try telling that to someone who has just withdrawn their winnings and purchased a brand new £60 pair of jeans. And all with little piddly 80p winnings. :D
I don't mind someone buying me a new item of clothing and quite an expensive one just before my summer holidays every year!! Because that is exactly what is happening when I take out my winnings. It is all free money.

Is winning MERC SLK a changing point in my life?
Forgot about something important.
Is winning MERC SLK a changing point in my life?
Surely not. It is actually additional liability, you have to pay additional expenses associated with this car. So unlles you already have a position and money it is unnecessary toy.
So why the hell I want to keep spending £1.5 a bid to try to win this car, where the chances of winning are very slim.
When you scoop the jackpot it is turning point of your life, this MERC is not good enough incentive to play elotbidder game.
If you really want to drive an expensive car like that instead of spending money on endless biding just hire one for a couple of days and take your family for a ride.

Anyway saying that those little winnings is a bulshit I meant that the ultimate goal is to win a big prize and all those little winners on the way can only reduce your costs of playing the lottery.
However, providing that you have already 5 members in your group and are playing for free, what you are saying is correct.
But, Rremember that most of the people involved in elottery have none, especially those who are not affiliates but just a players. They are spending £5 a week and those occasional winnings of 80p does not make any difference to them, if they win 80p, basicaly one week or two instead of paying £5 they will pay £4.20
What does make a difference to them is a bigger win and that is what we all hope to happen to us.
Do not take me wrong elottery is cool.
elotbider is silly game.

Don't forget elotbidder is currently really just a test of the system there will be more prizes and shorter auctions, some people would love a clk and some myself included would love to be selling it
As you say they will be plenty of folks who only use the free bid but nevermind i have a webpage promoting itself if i get enough players then ill join that as an affiliate.
GaG and elotbidder are currently equal for new prospects since B'ham.
