Another auction's closing date moved on...

Yep, looks like the Bravia LCD TV auction has also been moved on!

What do you think this suggests for e-lotbidder (that's the last two auctions on the trot)?

I personally don't think this is going to work unless the prize is a BIG-UN. I haven't promoted this at all since the Mercedes auction and have to admit won't promote it considering the income plan. Also don't think it looks good for the company when the closing date is moved on (even if VWD do reserve the right) - I wouldn't be impressed if I was holding the lowest unique bid at the initial closing date of each company.

Not wanting to give VWD a bashing because e-lottery is a fantastic product and VWD a brilliant company. I do however feel e-lotbidder at the mo is becoming a little stagnant...

I think they should have another great car! Maybe a ferrari or something.

Actually they should have a house. how cool would that be. the lowest unique bid wins a new house!

yes i think great good prizes would be the way to go.

Tv and stuff dont really intrest me, got to be summat good a big, maybe a yacht, mmmmmm nice. houses yes, cars cool.

VWD to me means lottery, sounds a bit old school but it is how i feel too.

But can't wait to see the new product coming later on in the new year, hope it is great.

I am inclined to the same view.

Certainly the company don't appear to be giving it the same high profile as they did when it started. I have promoted it with very limited success. The occasional free bidder has signed up which is fine provided that they then receive all the notifications regarding the e-lottery, which was always my understanding that they would.

I suspect that this will simply fade into oblivion once the new game(s) comes along.

I'll be pulling out of e-Lot Bidder after the Rolex auction ends.

The only reason I'm still in it, is because I spent all my bids on the run up to the end of the Rolex auction only to find out later that the date had been put forward to January! Of course, all my unique bids have since been equalled and are no longer unique, so I wasted all those bids which I could have used in January instead.

In my opinion it does not create confidence in bidders if the goalposts are continually moving. What would happen if lottery draw dates were moved about in a similar fashion? There would be hell to play.

Think its just once

I just hope with all the hype of the new games the company produce something better than e lottbidder

I cant believe it was hyped up so much and how it was going to change our business

Waste of time and money if you ask me

I don't believe it's a waste of time and money.

I think it's something worth trying, otherwise you would never know if it worked or not.

It would really need to take a lot more promotion and maybe some tweaking of the fees. IE less than £1.50 a shot to get interest going.
