TV Advertising

I was watching a program from a few weeks ago on my SKY Plus box last night and when the adverts came on there was one from king.com advertising there online who wants to be a millionaire game. Made me think as to whether or not VWD will advertise in this way?

I guess they could, but they wouldn't need us.

If they did it would help increase brand awareness and make it a lot easier for us to convince people it is a legit business

Not necessarily. It is one thing recruiting people but it is another to encourage that person to recruit themselves.

One of the things I am looking for is increased brand awareness which would help us to recruit as affiliates overall. Also, I'm hoping that more emphasis is placed on helping people with smaller teams who have spent a lot of time/money promoting e-lottery. Rather than constantly highlighting the people with thousands of team members who have a wealth of marketing and internet experience.

Unlike the lottery, e-play has the potential to be a true worldwide business, and no doubt having spent a small fortune on getting the project to this point, the company must be looking to hit the ground sprinting. Therefore, the more people promoting this full time the better.

Hi Miker59,

As you know, eVo is a MLM business so I am sure there will NOT be any TV advertising. If there was, then they would not need us (we will have to do some work !!) .... that is why we will get paid to promote the business instead of VWD paying TV channels fortunes for ads.

Surely, if they did all our potential earnings via the pay-levels would be eaten up straight away ?

See you all at Cheltenham !

Gareth

I think that it is true that MLM cannot be advertised on TV. Shame.

But, BTW, I have been playing on King.com, OMG, it is so much fun!!

You were missing the point I was making Gareth. As was stated above, brand awareness is absolutely crucial to any new business and again as stated above, provides an air of legitimacy. There are hundreds of thousands of businesses on the net all stating large incomes etc...etc... and it is often very difficult to get over to people that VWD is the exception to a lot of these.

They could run with a large rotator from the ad campaign and include all affiliates brought in from e-lottery. Once the ad campaign is finished then it would be upto us day 1 affiliates to get these people to replicate downwards.
This is then helping hard-working aff. with small teams to get established and allow more time for team promotion - i.e. everyones a winner!!! I'm suggesting HELP from VWD to build my team and not just a silver platter. At the end of the day, the sooner I can get to a set level of earnings then the sooner I would do this business full time, which must be what VWD are aiming to do for all their affiliates!!!

Ramble over LOL!!!

King.com have a 'tell a friend' option and they advertise on TV so how does that work?

In any case, I was merely suggesting that VWD advertise the actual games on the site and then place these people who sign up under a specific affiliate. It would then be upto that affiliate to get the person to bring other people on board.

One level affiliates schemes aren't MLM.

But I agree with you on the brand building. Very important... I just think you can do it on the TV... I hope I am wrong though.
