I have looked at some costs per member and if we could get 24 members paying £50 a week for the 8 weeks that would be £9,600. yes I know its a lot but we change members as we go lets say you only wanted to advertise in weeks 1 and 2 another member could take 3 , 4 , 5 another member could take 6 and 7 but you could take week 8. total cost £400

we could also look into making it more members like 48 reducing payment to £25 a week . this I think is within everone,s buget. plus every one is in for full 8 weeks if people think this is still to much they could split their costs with other members and set up thier own rotator for their links. total cost £200 . i like this myself if we could get the members.

if you could post to let me know if you are intrested in this coop and wich idea you would like or suggest other idea so that I have an idea on figures

just a little recap 8 weeks of 77 advertisements per week on radio for £200 - £400 how many people listen to radio sitting in car , house , work , other . I think its a lot more than will see our add if we posted it.

Their was also talk about putting a banner on their web page but would have to see if it is part of cost or an add on cost . when I have some
figures from you guys I will go back to Donna and ask for a discount if possible. or even shorter week span.

sorry its a long post

Personally i wouldn't do it.

A number of people in my downline have tried similar radio campaigns in the past and it has been a complete waste of money.

Yes A LOT of people listened to their adverts on the radio, but unfortuately no-one acted upon it, looked and joined.

It's a lot of money to spend for very little results.

I wouldn't do it either. I know a little about radio. (I'm not going to say who I am or what I do)

radio ads work as part of a much large campaign. you will need to do follow ups to really get it to work.

I am sure you could get a better deal else where for your money.

Like David B said on top of the price of having the ad played on a radio station. You have the production cost. Depending on how many voices you use and music and stings.

My advice is don't do it spend your money else where. I am not saying radio ads don't work they do for local shops etc. But not for this save your money.

If you want run an ad for another type of biz please palce an ad. I earn my living because of radio ad. (I'm not a salesman)

Gary there be more in 15 mins

think what we could do with 10k though! we could pay somone to work for us 9-5 talking to everyone in the street for half a year! Im sure 10k worth of adwords would get a nice result aswel! I wouldent mind dabbling in a bit of radio advertising but 10k for our 1st radio co-op i think is a bit much.
