Dear Sir

In re VIRTUAL WORLD DIRECT (in provision of liquidation)(a company registered in the British Virgin Islands)

On 16 December 2010 the official receiver was appointed provisional liquidator of the above named company and I understand you were an affiliate or a member of at least one syndicate.

Please note that the official receiver is not continuing the business of the company and not be buying lottery tickets. All payments to the company should be stopped.

Please let me have a note of any claim that you may have against the company.

Yours faithfully

G R Cooper
Senior Examiner
If you've paid subscriptions, lost winnings, I would contact the above email and let the receiver know.

I have a problem with subscription fees still coming out of my account so I sent an e-mail to Mr Cooper and this is the reply I received. "I regret I do not have control of the companys bank account as it is with the Allied Irish Bank and they do not recognise English Insolvency Law". How convenient.

I also e-mailed VWD admin but I have not received a reply yet.

For your own protection and for greater control make sure you set up a standing order or direct debit then the bank can stop it, but if its coming off your cards they say they cannot stop it only the company can do that

Wow, thats bad news. Also ref the card payments, sure the card company i.e your bank can block it as the company is now insolvent.

Obviously elottery hasn't started up again.
But I am interested in joining something similar and legal.
However, I do still have some money owed to me from commision and winnings, only a small amount. Do you have any info to help me get it.
Regards Paul

Who knows?

The problem is I wouldn't have a clue! Our statements were totally uninformative as to detail, and the genie impossible to work out!

However I do know that I had at least two entries in the Spanish Lottery where we were "guaranteed a prize", but I got my final settlement chq before that Lottery was even drawn. (Although I must admit it came in handy for Xmas.)

What I am particularly unhappy about is that all the leads I bought and worked hard for (including my own family members and friends) are now being emailed for BFL by uvme - now that really is rubbing salt in the wounds.

Joy
