Never give up !

The way i see it is that success does'nt happen overnight, you have to work at everything and then you can reep the rewards later on!!
Lots of people join up and expect a instant reward but normally thats not going to happen,
put in the work, stay open minded and positive and in the end good things will come

Well I treat it as a hobbie which I love doing! I work fulltime and basically plough all my commission into future advertising. No bother with the tax man then!

Watch it with the taxman

Speaking as a businessman all my life, you will find that you pay
taxes on the profits from your business before you spend what's left.

Don't get caught out.

David

I work it the same as Mal, every penny I earn goes straight into advertising, I assumed that in this case there is no profit so no tax, am I wrong? I admit I have no idea of tax implications, wasn't really an issue before but am now starting to see reasonable commission each month.

It is a misconception that you just spend the money and therefore no profit

What actually happens is this

In the first instance you make a profit - this is then tax payable

Basically whats left is yours

I think i will have to agree with our guest there,
If you make any kind of profit then the tax man will be wanting a bit of it, if you decide to use the money for advertising then thats your choice but at the end of the day you still made money, i dont think you are excluded just because the profit you made is being put back into your business.

If im wrong please let me know
