The Difference Between Rich/Poor People?

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live.

They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"

"It was great, Dad."

"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.

"Oh yeah," said the son.

"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.

The son answered:

"I saw that we have one dog and they had four.

We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.

We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.

Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.

We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.

We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.

We buy our food, but they grow theirs.

We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."

The boy's father was speechless.

Then his son added, "Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are."

That's great... i like how the son weighed up life! could do with more people like that. i especially liked th part that they have friends that protect them

It is a question of attitude - but you have to have the right people to aspire too!

My father worked all of his life - really hard, now he hardly has a pension and his hips had to be replaced - his hands are knackered too!

where did that hard work get him? nowhere...

I learned from this and dont do manual work unless its for myself car/house etc to save money - I am more than capable of manual labour, I was a sparky and am glad to say I am a qualified welder - sound engineer etc etc..

You will never get rich working for somebody else - invest in VWD and prosper.

Watch the workers work but dont say anything - keep quiet and realise how lucky you are to at least be in the knowledge that you have started something which will bring you a life long income from the great internet..

Some will say "You cant make money from the internet" well - keep quiet and remind them of what they said in a few years.

I have a few people I will speak too soon - bloody short sighted idiots.. but remember - keep quiet while your still building.
