I suddenly recognised Bill Harris from Centrepointe half way through.

His monthly newletters ( free ) are well worth the time to read them - although I haven't signed up for the Holosync yet the free disc does, actually, seem to shift something.

Has anyone else used it, I wonder?

The basic message of this video is that the power is within yourself - the very same message churned out by countless thousands of self-help books. Imho it's a load of hogwash - it doesn't take into account the realities and circumstances of the individuals life. Could well pass for a promo for a lot of religious cults but I am not going to name any:)

It's arguable that there's nothing new under the sun.

Not sure if there's anything in The Secret or not, but some of the people on the video are actually pretty good on the psychology side - and although The Secret may be a bit over the top, a lot of other stuff is good.

I'm 51 and watched The Secret about 6 weeks ago. It has changed my life and I only wish I'd been exposed to it sooner. I made a conscious effort to shift my way of thinking and almost immediately things started to happen in my business. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

To the poster I've quoted: I really have no wish to cause you any offense as you look rather cute in your little trilby, but you said on this forum not long ago (I remember you because of the hat) that 99% of the people you speak to about the e-lottery say it must be a scam. I put it to you that there's a direct connection between your own attitude and the response of your prospects. Please take some time to think about these words.

First of all I'm flattered you think I look cute in my hat, lol.

I downloaded your post 1 whole hour ago and in the meantime I brought my little daughter to school, went to the shop to buy the paper etc. All that time I have been deep in thought and I have to say that I still don't get it - I really don't.

Are you saying that those ppl I talk to who think it's a scam are somehow transferring their negative thoughts to me? Or that I myself don't believe in the opportunity enough to convince them it's not a scam?

You're 51 I'm 57. I have been a positive thinker my whole life, not an optimist or pessimist but a realist. I live each day as if it's my last. 17 years ago I came out of a 2 month coma and had to learn everything from scratch, as well as put up with being crippled for life. Tell me that's not positive thinking!

Would you like to know how many times I have watched "The Secret"? I keep waiting for something to jump out and say "Eureka" but alas I still don't get it. So you tell me - what is the secret?

Thanks for taking my comments in the spirit they were intended and not being offended.
To your questions. I meant that you must be somehow unconsciously giving people a negative impression for 99% to say it's a scam. I mean, it's so obviously not a scam that it's the only logical explanation. It has to be you. Sorry.
As to The Secret. Everyone obviously gets something different from it as illustrated by our two very different reactions to it – you think it's hocus pocus and I think it's life-changing! For me, it brought two major changes.

1. I always used to think that I had no control over whatever thought popped into my head. It taught me that I can decide which thoughts to give credence to and which to banish, by constantly asking myself "is this thought making me feel good or not?". I suppose that's a simplistic explanation for practising mental self-discipline. The knowledge that "you get what you think about most" has been an enormous motivation in this process.
2. In the past I never set myself high goals because I used to think that without a complete plan of how to achieve them there was no point. So I only ever aspired to small things that I already knew how to achieve. I now realise that I don't need a route planner, I can set out on the journey only knowing the destination and by believing that I'm going to get there, I'll find the way regardless.

For example, before The Secret I would never have considered aspiring to be a millionaire because I didn't know the "how". What has happened in the meantime is that I have stopped worrying about the "how" and just started concentrating on the end result. This, along with freeing my mind from driftwood thoughts, seems to have freed it up for inspiration and I have had a series of brainwaves for my EvO prospecting that show every sign of getting me to my goal in the not too distant future.
But more important than any money is no longer feeling that there's a fate already mapped out for me, a destiny that I have no control over. I have banished the phrase "if it's meant to be, it will be" from my vocabulary. In short, I feel in the driving seat of my life for the first time ever.
That, my cute Mr Trilby is what The Secret has meant for me. My dream is to stand on the stage one day at a VWD event, as a millionaire, and tell you all this story. So remember where you heard it first!!

I thought it was quite true and good when they said millionaires who started with nothing, didn't know what they were going to do to make a million they just knew they were going to do it !
