Why I've added Adbrite adverts at the top

Hi Guys,

I've already mentioned the reasons (to some of you)

Adbrite is a bit like google adwords and adsense combined. From one account you can buy adverts on sites and also sell adverts

My thinking behind adding is,

When a person is looking to advertise their product they search on Adbrite on keywords which then brings up related sites available to advertise on. Normally the person would then visit the site to see if it is suitable for their advertising. So here we could find prospects for our actual business.

The money generated from having the adverts at the top will be reinvested, I will use it to promote the VWDforum, so hopefully bringing more prospects.

As we know that the commission generated from the adverts will help us all then I feel we will be more likely to have a look at the products on offer! (Hint)

Please give me your thoughts and feedback on this. I will let you know how much it generates in a week or so.

I think It is a great idea and can only benefit the site for all,

Thank you mal for all you hard work with the forum without you I think there would a lot of people struggling with VWD. This is a valuble resource and i happily support the ads.

Used Adsense a while back but had no worthwhile results sadly. That said PPC and text-based ads are an art-form in themselves.
