Nice work simon! i'd be happy to place that banner on my site as it is, as i find the forum a great help and just a nice place to talk to fellow people with the same interests as me (the lotto hehe)
The banner looks great and would work well in a banner exchange system.
As for putting the banner on my main site i would have to say no... Reason being i spend a lot of time and money promoting my site and the last thing i want is for someone to visit the forum via my promoting efforts and then clicking someones affiliate link (forum sig) and joining under someone els....
I feel the forum helps close a sale, as they see real people asking real questions!
Also to get your site on the new forums links page which I will open soon you will have to agree to show the banner (this will help all of our search engine positions, hopefully!)
i was just waiting for you to say that Mal! like i said i dont have no beef with it but how can you inforce this and would there be some kind of referal thing in place so if a new prospect came from a members site they would join in there downline regardless? like you were brought here by xxx to join now click here or somthing! that would take away ones fear that they will lose business. cause like lucky kind of said you dont want to lose your prospect to someone else
