Urgent Help Needed - Scam ???

Hi All,

I need some help with something that may be dodgy it may be not, this isnt my area of expertise, so I am hoping that someone here will know.

Has anyone heard of either of these two people

stephen pierce or christopher howard

An affiliate has come to me, after agreeing to pay just under £1000 to get information from the first guy, who is a "GURU"

The affiliate in quesition has heard the person speak once in London, and has been promised materials through the post with no delivery (yet) along with a lifetime membership to a support website.

Now this could be genuine or it could be a big ripp off, has anyone got any experience on this????

Please advise so I can pass onto the person in question.

Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this for her.

This could potentially be people in your downline in future, paying out that kind of money. So would be useful if anyone knows anything on this subject to post it here.

You need to elaborate a bit more mate.. did she tell you what 'materials' she ordered in London ? the mind boggles!!

You say he is a "GURU" - that is not a nationality .... so a guru of what ?

I assume you mean some internet marketing material- if you do then she has paid way over the odds... you can get the best of the best online marketing packages for a few dollars.

Sorry if that doesnt help, but I tried to answer your rather vague question.

Never heard of either of them and anyone can call themselves GURU. Scam I say - my advice to your friend would be to take all steps possible to get her money back.

They are both Tony Robbins style American "motivational speakers" I think. You know the sorta thing. NLP / Mind modelling etc..

If I was thinking of going down that route, I would probably start with one of their books or a DVD and see what they were like rather than fork out £1,000. They probably have some very good ideas and advice, but and the end of the day it's all up to the individual to actually get out there and get busy.

The style of these speakers are very popular, especially in the States, but personally I find them a bit "evangelical" for my liking.

Stick their names in YouTube and you'll find some more stuff.

A quick search on google shows that both these guys are involved in "neuro-linguistic programming" whatever the heck that is! There are certainly a lot cheaper ways to get motivational training e.g. books, dvd's etc etc.

I saw Stephen Pierce speak at the World Internet Summit in Sydney last year. He was pretty good and was voted the best speaker of the event - Derek Gehl, Mike Filsaime, Ted Ciuba and a lot of others were speaking there too, so he did pretty well in that company.

If he's offering mentoring in the package it's probably a good buy - but only if you actually use it and learn from it... otherwise it's just a grand down the drain.

Get your money back if you can these people just spout waffle and make there money by telling other people how to make money or how to be motivated ect ect.

Be your own person and have that burning desire in side your own body to make money.Be self motivated.

You can get all the marketing information like was said for a few dollars and even free in some areas.
