How are people finding these at the moment?

Has anyone ever bought them for 12 months in a row?

I have bought an odd 200 here and there.

But thought I would try the monthly option for the last three months.

I had 3 signups will replaced 3 drop outs.

I did have one good month in 2008 with a 200 batch, got about 6 signups.

But at moment not very good conversion, so I've stopped my monthly order this month.

I know a lot of affiliates that built their business just on total leads Dave, You do too I bet!

I did total leads for 12 months at one time. I had decided that instead of taking my commissions, I would put all the money back into various forms of promotion and see where it took me.... just like you would do in any new business you owned really.

The leads did well on the whole, but some take a long time... my longest was someone who joined after being in the system as a total lead for 2 yrs and 10 months, so you really do have to view them as a long term investment.

I havent bought any for a few months now though, they were not performing well at all for me, if anyone has bought any recently how are they doing? do you have a good open rate with them?

While I know that they can work well, I personally still find that "belly to belly" promotion is by far the best promotion in terms of conversion for me.

Maybe when we have the new website I will have another go with them.

David Beavis my sponsor buys the leads reguarly and i believe he has done for the past 2 years

Maybe its just me but i believe the longer you buy leads the better they get, whether the company has any say in it i dont know but it certainly seems that way

Yup thats what I think too, however you need to stick through the good and the bad to get the leads.

And say you buy 400 a month for a year thats £2400 ish (a bit more) is there a better way to use your money???

We all know leads work, however we need to work the leads, and it can be down heartening if they dont work for you.

Does David get a good response?

I know some months he was getting 5,6,7,8 new members from the leads

Its weired but when i bought leads it always seemed that when i got a new member from them the following day id have someone suspended! Arghhhhh

It has really frustrated me cos e lottery really has been a one step forward two steps back for me. I seem to find a player, then lose two, then il find another two players then lose 3 players

Im dertermined to get a team of 200 and to keep working at it every day

I guess its one of those things, just need to keep doing it, and over time it should work.

What is "belly to belly" promotion?

Personnally I bought 400 leads in 2005 and at that moment I had better results by paying paid advertising banner on french website.

With the new website I also want to buy again 400 leads to see what results I will get now that the new website and the new video are ready.

Belly to belly means talking to other people face to face. This is probably the best way to promote e-lottery.

I've always found that advertising on other websites or 'pay per click' delivers better results than total leads - it's also cheaper.

The problem with buying leads (from any source) is that you don't know where they've come from i.e. they could be leads that have been used by other e-lottery affiliates or they aren't targeted to your required market. It's a much better idea to generate your own leads, as advised by some of the e-lottery leadership.

I always advise my own group to generate their own leads using the tools that we are provided with by VWD.
