Just in case anyone is thinking of using these guys for guaranteed sign-ups, I have had an e-mail from them this morning to say that there is a HUGE waiting list for uVme and it would be about three months before you would see your order fulfilled!!!

I placed an order for 25 about five weeks ago and that is still a week away from starting!!!

That will probably take us up to after the games are launched. The question is, will people still be able to sign up free at that time? For a kind of trial period? Otherwise none of the free sign-up programs will be viable as we won't have a free sign-up program to offer them. Anyone know?

Yes there will still be a free trail period of 14 days, so we should be ok :-)

I'm so sceptical of companies like this though.

I knew an Australian who told me of a company he used in India that did something similar to this. In India it's not a bad amount of money to be paid to join somthing however, in terms of business you don't tend to get anything out of it.

My Auzzy friend said he used to use them to boost up numbers on certain websites just to make it look busier than it actually was.

Yes Gwhaskew, but 'syndicateworld' was looking to sign-up prospective ASSOCIATES and not PLAYERS via this method.

I tend to agree with the concensus, that these types of sites at best 'boost figures', but getting a decent working associate from them..... I would expect finding a needle in a haystack very simple compared to that !!

As I've said in another thread, any form of marketing online / offline is a gamble. You could spend £200 on Adwords and get nothing or you could get half a dozen associates - it's the same with buying sign-ups.

uVme is all about numbers hence the big guys have been using everything they know to build massive teams in the hope that they can get their required three legs going as quick as possible.

After hastling Buyrefs.com to get a move on with my signups, i received all but 1 last night. All signups within minutes of each other!

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!! These will ALL be duds! I got one person signed up-

!!! I've also had loads more of obviously fake people/email account specifically created to signup to sites.

I ordered my signups before i joined this forums. I wished i had joined earlier and listened to people.

I have however, found that the banner advertisements that Rent-A-List do have been working - i've been getting at least a signup a day from them. *** removed by admin ****

On a serious note, your bound to get a few sign-ups like this wherever you go. Lucky I got a refund from these guys!!!
