e-lottery Players Win Double the Four-Ball Amount
The UK Lotto draw on Wednesday, 23rd July 2008, had a four-ball win amount of £104. However, one e-lottery syndicate matched four numbers, and each individual Member of that syndicate won £227.51!
If you’re wondering how each Member could have won more than double what a lone player won with the same number of balls matched, it’s simple…

Another Big Win for an e-lottery Syndicate
On Wednesday, 7th May, an e-lottery syndicate shared a big win. From the syndicate's common numbers, it matched four of the main numbers drawn plus the bonus ball, winning £88,748. How can that be, when playing alone there isn't even a prize offered for matching four balls plus the bonus ball?
Well, because the syndicate matched four of its common numbers plus the bonus ball, it actually matched FIVE of the UK Lotto's main numbers plus the bonus ball --- TWICE!

Winners Can be Losers (But Not in e-lottery!)
Yet another pitfall that you can avoid by joining an e-lottery syndicate: kicking yourself for the rest of your life because you lost your winning ticket, or forgot to buy one with your usual numbers one week!
According to Camelot (operators of the UK National Lottery & EuroMillions), just in the past month:
- £55,639 from the Lotto draw on Saturday 9 February 2008 remained unclaimed more than 180 days after the draw, so was given to good causes
- £250,000 from the Thunderball draw on Wednesday 6 February 2008 remained unclaimed more than 180 days after the draw, so was given to good causes
- £70,092 from the Lotto draw on Saturday 5 January 2008 remained unclaimed more than 180 days after the draw, so was given to good causes

One Digit Away from Sharing the Jackpot
e-lottery syndicates have come very, very close to sharing lottery jackpots on several occasions. For example, on Saturday, 19th January 2008, the UK Lotto's winning numbers were:
6 10 30 32 43 45
And an e-lottery syndicate's common numbers were:
5 10 30 32 43 (45 matched automatically on one line)
...As you can see, the syndicate matched all but one number, and even that missing number was only ONE DIGIT AWAY (a "5" instead of a "6")!
You can't get closer than that! And that was the second time in two months that an e-lottery syndicate was just a few digits away from a massive win. Will the next draw be the one? Could it be your syndicate?
Upcoming draws:
There are two massive rollover draws coming up: Wednesday's UK Lotto has an estimated rollover jackpot amount of £7.5 million, and Friday's EuroMillions estimated rollover jackpot is £55 million. You do the maths...
even shared between the members of your syndicate, there would be 39 e-lottery millionaires created if your syndicate is the sole jackpot winner on Friday!
