today as usual i went to the conference room. last week i believed it was almost empty because of birmingham but what is the excuse to day .i thought it was for people to help one another but when i went to the conference room it only had 3 and one of them was my husband peter has it fell down already ?let me know ,

Personally i couldnt attend this one, as I had to do a test run upto birmingham and back in one day to find the location of the most important interview/selection day of my life, so was a tad busy.

It must be remembered that the chat room is there for independent members to help other members be they crossline,or in the same team. Most of the work is done cross line, and therefor is of no real benefit to the person who is conducting the training.

Its a shame at the moment that no one is actively doing training, understandably people are busy, I have 4 exams, a job interview, a final semester 4 more exams, a dissertation to complete, a job, and a promotion all to do in 18 weeks. Nik has just moved house and I believe is busy looking for a place to buy, Andy well its understanable why Andy isnt active in there at the moment.

I personally was all up for doing something on goal setting, but was shocked to find that people were complaining, that I said I could only do it with slides, and at the moment I dont have the time to make the slide. Unfortunatly I dont know who complained, but this has put me off doing this as well. As i said next 18 weeks are a no-no for me.

Everyone on this forum has at least one area that they excell in within VWD, most have previous MLM experience, so there is no real reason why someone else other than "the usual suspects" could do some training, or start a discussion with other people in the room.

I agree its a shame that there isnt more active stuff going on in there at the moment but i guess people are just busy. There is well over 300 members of this forum, perhaps one or two more could step up and share?

I am sure it will become reactive in a few months time, may i ask what area of VWD/MLM you excel at? Maybe you could lead the way and do something on that?

Always remember that there is the company run room every thursday nights hosted by Neil Verlander, I understand Eric Avery will be in the room too giving away spot prizes eg DVDs etc..

I just wrote a post basicaly saying what you have about the chat room in reply to a question from the new member Tia..

I stumbled across your post after writing mine which should demonstrate that we are concerned with our room and the reasons for it not being so good at the moment are common - like Dave said, the people who have so-far done work in there have not personally benefitted, its just that we like to help each other and when it comes to the point that we are busy in other areas then the free work will cease until we can start again...

There are some excellent ideas for new presentation in the chat room and they will come to fruition,

Its like the co-ops some of us have run - they take up LOADS of time and effort and when we get complaints then we have to think twice about doing it all again.

At the moment it wouldbe great if we could get somebody to revive the "Admedia" campaign.

I am not in a stable position at the moment with regard to my accomodation - I dont know what will happen tomorrow so I can commit at the moment

When you start to deal with 30 people and take their money they will start to chase you every day for "news" - payment "Receipts" and just little things like that but it builds up and takes all of your time, this is of course reasonable to expect the members to be kept up to date - I would expect this too being a paid member but this is really where the forum comes into it's own - this is where we post news.

I understand some co-ops failed for various reasons but we are getting to know what does and doesnt work so really we all benefit from these..

Lets have somebody step up to the plate and run a co-op, it would be great if all of the members who have been involved in VWD for a while could have a go at this - then we will all be seeing these campaigns in the same light.

Dont get me wrong - I am not making excuses or being lazy, I will do another when things have settled for me.
But lets not see complaints - lets do something positive and get another co-op running..

Ah - you will need to chase people for payments too - thats always fun...:)
