Nope thats it. The way I understand it is you can't earn on adverts started by you (As you would be self clicking which is obvously against PPC rules) but if theres something of interest with the advertising on other posts then feel free to have a look. If Every member done this then you would see a healthy return.

I hope so because I occasionally click an advert that looks interesting and I kinda feel like I'm supporting a forum member with some pennies!

Hi

I got confirmation from Adsense, plus an email telling me how to get the Adsense code (i.e. Visit the "Adsense Setup Tab"). Well when I visited it, I wasn't sure how to fill it in, so I didn't!

But there still seems to be a couple of pub-xxx codes, so I've posted that into my forum account. Hopefully that's all done OK.

You need to have a webpage where you can put Adsense ads, ie have the ability to edit the content of the webpage. Gambling related sites are harder to get approved.

If you create a blog at Blogger.com, you can set up an Adsense account using the blog as the site. I think they automatically approve it straight away because Blogger is owned by Google.

Slightly different question. I used my own site www.millionaireways.com which WAS accepted.

But does that mean I HAVE to put adverts on my page? (Or will they get put there without me knowing?)

I have enough difficulty getting people to my site without having them click away - or am I missing the point here - the answer to that is probably yes!

I have other non-VWD pages I can use instead if ads MUST go on somewhere. Would that still be OK for participating in the forum venture?

My question goes away if no outsiders' adverts will be placed on my site, as I think this is a great idea in concept and it's just my ignorance about Adsense that's getting in the way!

Hi Joy

If you want adds to appear on your site, you need a to add some coding from the adsense site. If do don't want to then 'don't'

Just rember to copy your account number and add it to your profile
