Here is how i understood it to work from the payplan and what vwd have said in one of the nightly conferences.

If someone from UK joins, they pay 200
If someone from EU joins, they pay 200 euro (cant find the key grr!)
If someone from US joins, they pay 200 $

Now as a UK affiliate introducing these 3 affiliates, i assumed my earnings would be 100 for each one - ie 300 total.

Any differences due to currency conversion would be kept/paid by vwd as necessary.

Likewise a US affiliate introducing people would get a FSB of $100 for each one, regardless of what currency that new person paid in.

Overall i think vwd would be 'in pocket' because there are likely to be more non-UK people than UK people, so despite having to 'add to' the US and EU values to make our 100 FSB they would not be losing out overall.

(lets not forget the 100 is only half the joining fee, so this gives vwd the other 100 to play with when making up the FSB - although obviously they will want to cover their costs and make a profit too...)

Did anyone else read the payplan this way or just me?

If a UK person gets more than a US or Euro person or vice versa or whatever this silly argument is about, the point is - HOW MUCH WOULD YOU BE GETTING WITHOUT VWD ?

This is a fantastic opportunity and we should appreciate it for what it is instead of picking on what is essentially minor technicalities.

This isn't about VWD as a company. They do a great job and no-one can deny that and yes, this is a fantastic opportunity. But at the same time, I don't consider my point to be a 'minor technicality'. I think it is a very valid point, especially where UK associates are concerned.

According to the reply I got from VWD (see earlier post) we are being asked to pay 65 a month compared to the 32 ($65) a month that the US and the rest of the world have to pay. Add to this the fact that US associates can earn both 100 and $100 fast start bonuses and we can only earn the lower $100 fast start bonuses and you'll probably realise why I think we should all be paying in the same currency - like e-Lottery.

Dont you think VWD have put a lot of thought and effort into this whole project ?
Of course we are all glad to be members of VWD and all hope to do very well out of uVme but that hardly means we should just accept the way they set things up without question.

The more this discussion goes on the more I find this whole business of paying different amounts and being paid different amounts according to where you live ridiculous.

We live in a world of global trade where you can buy from practically anywhere around the world but where else would you find that you pay half as much for something if you happened to live in America.

I guess VWD must have their reasons but I can't for the life of me understand why they have set things up this way, the cost and benefit should be the same for all members not dependant on where you live

A solution to the costs and currencies?

Why not get rid of the joining fee and Fast Start Bonuses then no one has to worry about currencies.

Perhaps that's too simple a solution?

Does anyone know when we will have to pay the /$197 for our site? IE will be get our /$100 per active member at the same time as the one off fee is due? (This is highly doubt but just for clarification).

I'm assuming we pay the /$197 fee when the site goes live, then as soon as an associate becomes active, we then get the /$100. Am i correct?
